Layoffs

The Democratic leadership is pushing for extended unemployment benefits including paying for your health insurance after a layoff. I don't want the federal government paying for my healthcare. That's a slippery slope into providing healthcare for all Americans. Also how do I return that $1200 welfare check in the plan?

Taxes should only be used for corporate welfare. This governmental socialist agenda has to stop. People just have to pull themselfs up my the boot straps. Healthcare should be tied to employment or everyone might be able to receive/afford that basic human right.

It's much better to use a crisis to push a country into an unnecessary prolonged war based to bad information. Solider's need to work and the "defense" industry needs money.

Fine, then stipulate that's got to be part of the deal. Right now the GOP wants no restrictions, just a huge fund to be handled by Munchin.
Now you're being ridiculous. You can't legislate how every single business gets loans, the KungFlu will have a vaccine by the time politicians get that passed.

Bailing out businesses that can’t operate in a changing economy isn’t the responsibility of taxpayers. Capitalism is letting them go belly up!
In the case of the massive Obama bailouts I would agree. They acted irresponsibly.

In the case of the KungFlu crisis, the government has forcibly shut many of these businesses down. The government has a part to play in getting them running again.
