What's the best way to heat up these :censored2: diesel trucks for hot air? Block radiator? I tried running it on the highway in 4th gear and that seem to help.

I replace the tstat when a driver complains about heat. Also make sure the fan isnt running all the time. If everything checks out, I go 1970s and put cardboard infront of the radiator.

If its 10 degrees out, you're freezing your ass off, the temp gauge is reading low and the heater is putting out cool air, block the radiator with cardboard. Just keep an eye on the temp gauge. If the gauge goes to far in the hot, remove the cardboard. Below 20, it will be fine. Above 25, watch that gauge

Block the grill, not the radiator.

That will stop the cold air flowing through the hood and through the gaps in the firewall and engine cover.

Get some duct tape and seal up every gap you can see inside.
