I guess my post, in another thread, got deleted because it offended someone.
It talked about how Memorial Day isn't "National BBQ Day" and showed a small boy receiving the flag from his fathers casket.
How many of you went to an event today that honored fallen soldiers?

My Dad and his two Brothers served in Nam. I never got to meet one of my Uncles. He threw himself on a Grenade and was instantly killed. My PawPaw was 101st Airborne during WW2. We have a ton of stuff in our Family from the Eagles Nest. I come from a Family of those who have served on both sides. I never had the courage too. Thank’s Dad and my Uncles and my PawPaw for keeping me free.

No. Our local softball and baseball teams have played on this Saturday to go to state every year except covid cancelations. So kind of ties up most of the people in town
