You know we're going deeper into a recession, right? If the Republicans win the house and Senate, what do you think the Democrat campaign strategy will be?
Blame game. A pass for their failures.
You and I talked about this long before the election.
No doubt I mistakenly believed that with Biden being the worst president in history and the Democrats had gone crazy with progressive extremist policies that even some Democrats and most independents would join Republicans in repudiating all that. I was wrong. But if we come out of this with only control of the House I'll take it.
Plenty of Democrats were thinking there'd be a red wave too. It was all over CNN, MSNBC and Bill Maher. I voted for Republicans for the first time.
Either some of the "2020 was rigged" Republican candidates really turned people off or they really haven't had enough of progressive extremism yet. There also seems to be a theory that there are now just as many single women as married women in the US and they responded strongly to the overturning of Roe at the polls.

hows that work? does someone become president with 30 percent of the vote? there is no 50 percent rule in the constitution.
my ballot had six parties on it for governor. the dems and republicans had the most votes despite those options.
voters can drive the results by voting for other parties.
