If you’re looking at it only from a superficial point of view and not at all considering their personality differences.
You obviously haven't really looked at DeSantis. He's roughly the same size as Trump. But that's where it ends. Trump bullied his way into the presidency. DeSantis doesn't bully. He responds. Know why you and other liberals are attacking DeSantis? He's highly competent. Surrounds himself with highly competent people. Isn't trying to sell his brand. Just trying to do the best he can for his constituents. This worries liberals who go on the attack to any perceived threat to their power. Everyone saw what liberals are willing to stoop to with Trump and Kavanaugh. Can only imagine the smears you'll come up with for DeSantis.

DeSantis is 5’9. Trump is claimed at 6’2” or 6’3” standing tall, but his hunch takes him down to just over 6 foot.
Sounds like Democrats might want to come up with a better method of arguing that DeSantis is basically Trump.

When he does something you disagree with point it out. Trotting out witnesses to smear someone with no proof isn't the same thing now is it?
I was referring to his weight which in recent months looked like he had put on some weight.

Y'all accused Kavanaugh of horrible things with no proof. You impeached Trump twice on baseless accusations. Has been determined that the Clinton campaign started the whole Russian collusion narrative. Of course you have the right to point out flaws in someone's character. Of course you have the right to point out their failures at governing. You don't have the right to make up stuff though. Saying DeSantis is a younger version of Trump because you know how your base feels about Trump is typical Democrat smear tactics.

I see Andrew Gillum has filed a lawsuit over the 2018 governor's race. Former President Trump stated on his social platform that he sent in the FBI and US Attorney's to stop the ballot counting in Broward County. He stated that his actions saved the election for DeSantis.
