You know, combining 4 irrational thoughts into one giant run on sentence does not make them any more rational.But some people want to take concrete issues like a global pandemic, huge lose of jobs, people facing a forclosure/evictions because whole industries shut down and a massive lose of jobs, etc and ignore data about why people are behind on rent/mortgages or why some landlords haven't gotten the money and what's actually going on based on examining that data, and instead they just go off of individual stories and their personal gut feelings that people are trying to get over, and they want government policy that will impact millions of people's lives based on their nonsense feelings.
There are plenty of jobs out there, many are overpaid handsomely at this point.This thread and the responses were really revealing about how people think about public policy and the world. Everyone has their personal beliefs about "human nature" and how good or bad they believe other human beings to be. All irrelevant stuff really.
