Why would anyone work at ground when they can stay at home collect unemployment + $600 a week.

I do agree that a sense of pride is temporary. More people would set aside pride to stay home during this pandemic. Not that hard of a decision when you consider you and your family's health.

Dunno if it will get to become one opco... the networks are still too segregated. Plus FXE stuff are more time sensitive than FXG date certain freight
The ground overlapping to combine HD and and ground routes did made it easier to have more stop density of each route I'm juggling daily.
Yes, some routes are still considered HD or predominately residential and some drivers prefer that over a business heavy ground route.
It's the cleanup crew that takes the overflow and later sort items out of the building that has more windshield time between stops.
Plus, a few cleanup drivers will help those drivers who have close to 300 stops to finish the residential stuff after 1700 as needed

If it gets into high gear they'll probably be extending those benefits. Especially if we have a second wave of outbreak.

I’m don’t have to recruit but I find we may as well have people qualified and ready to go.
