From what I gather, all those codes are controlled by the service level code from the tracking number. Even when a commercial address shows as a residential or vice versa, that is information entered by the shipper, Orion and dispatch are not setting those. in fact, the program they use to put notes in our boards will show commercial or residential for at least a range of addresses, but that gets overridden by the shipper input.
I am not sure why they can't set addresses with a fixed commercial or residential designation. Maybe it is due to the number of mixed addresses, like apartments with offices. Or maybe they just haven't tried.
