New hire. Any tips on backing to business docks. That are narrow

New hire fresh from school. Just started my supervised deliveries this week and my route is mostly industrial so its all backing to docks, most are very narrow with cars and trucks close by so hard to swoop in. Thank you in advance

Make sure your mirrors are adjusted good.

Back slow and constantly check your mirrors. Things can change quickly.

Preferably sight side back. if you can't then a straight back. Blind side back would be the last choice.

Didn't he tell you to pull in nose first so you could see where you're going?

Sometimes you have to do that.

Didn't he tell you to pull in nose first so you could see where you're going?

Swoop in hard nose first to make a. U and back straight in. Hard to do with vehicles around. But when i do sometimes dive in to soon and they dont want us to back more than once.

Hell I still would take into account if it's snowing and icy, the clearance you had is most likely no longer there also. Packed snow and ice will reduce that.
