Pretty funny.
Everything we’ve been in the office for has been false accusations so he finds it comical when I let them know how dumb they are in the most professional and mellow mood possible

I would only add that the caucus/sidebar is your right and your friend in these interviews.

Don't be afraid to use it if you are a steward and feel the interview going sideways or new facts are revealed.

....and don't be afraid to ask your steward for one if you need to step out for a private conversation.

It frustrates the hell out some managers as well, which made me use them even more.
