When is our next raise? Is it next month? How much is it again?
August 1st. $.475/hr
Same here , can't wait.
Won't see it---diverted to pension.
Hopefully you will see it when you retire! Got to get your pension back into the green before they do something like decrease your monthly benefit.
Not here , we will go to $31.785
I'd rather have Upstate's pension.
Nope rather have my pension and my raise.
Let's do the math. Assuming a $1/hr raise for each year of the contract, $10K will have been diverted to my pension ($1/hr * 2000 hrs * 5 years). My projected pension is $5K/month. I will recoup the $10K in the first two months of my retirement.
I would rather have a secure pension in 7 years than a few dollars now.
I hate you.
I hear that a lot.
I wonder if it truly will be $5000.........
Good for you. You have earned it and truly deserve it. I hope you live at least 35 years after you retire and help many generations of upstatenyupsers go to college have spending cash and just be healthy.
I couldn't open that attachment ......but it couldn't be for me since I'm on ignore.
You remind me of the guy who gets his very first paycheck....suppose to get $300 a week and his check is for $199.00. Can you see the total disappointment on his face because it isn't what he expected? 7 years is a long time and happens.
The people running your pension fund can still run it into the ground AGAIN. If there past performance is any indication...
Their past performance, other than the 2008-09 slump, has been above the market average.
