Anyone out there have any experience with this job
You got this job bro??! It’s simple. Work as directed npAnyone out there have any experience with this job
My building has a Midnight/EAM combo job. He hated it because after running EAM's he would have to run regular 10:30 air commits. 14 hour days most times. Reminds me of how fortunate I am for never taking one of those nightmare jobs.Anyone out there have any experience with this job
The commit times. EAM's are 8:00AM and Next Day Air 10:30 with some area differences.Biggest difference between air and eam
You are breaking the DOT HOS rules.I'm basically doing this now. I work inside twilight 6p-10p, then load up a combo and shuttle it somewhere in the state. Get back around 4-5am. Then go to my primary job 8a-5p. Raking it in.
When do u sleep?I'm basically doing this now. I work inside twilight 6p-10p, then load up a combo and shuttle it somewhere in the state. Get back around 4-5am. Then go to my primary job 8a-5p. Raking it in.
Do explain? I'm well beyond the 10 hour reset. I also don't actually drive more than 4 hours. Not sure if I missed something. You are breaking the DOT HOS rules.
They only have me shuttle twice a week. 3 times if we get swamped. I'm pretty resilient when it comes to sleep. Especially for what they're paying me to do it.When do u sleep?
You better never get in accident. They will fry your ass.I'm basically doing this now. I work inside twilight 6p-10p, then load up a combo and shuttle it somewhere in the state. Get back around 4-5am. Then go to my primary job 8a-5p. Raking it in.
You count all compensated hours you work, not just at ups.Do explain? I'm well beyond the 10 hour reset. I also don't actually drive more than 4 hours. Not sure if I missed something.
*edit* Y'all are right. Just confirmed with DOT HOS regulations. OOPS.You count all compensated hours you work, not just at ups.
pretty much every air/inside combo 22.3 job is crap, unless you have over 20+ years company seniority, then the pay rate is okay. Or, if you are low seniority, only work a couple hours inside and get most hours on-road at top air rate. These jobs are usually reserved for new FT's who get bumped, or in a few less likely situations, older drivers who are cruising to retirement.Anyone out there have any experience with this job
you are not a "combo" as the OP is speaking about anyway, it sounds you are just a part-timer and covering open air shuttle assignments.*edit* Y'all are right. Just confirmed with DOT HOS regulations. OOPS.
Kind of sucks. I enjoyed doing it.
Pretty much why I said basically.you are not a "combo" as the OP is speaking about anyway, it sounds you are just a part-timer and covering open air shuttle assignments.
