I swear attendance is optional in my building!
The same goes for coming in late.
There are employees who miss two random days every week, and when they return to work, the Supervisors don't say a word about it.
Or they come in 15 - 20 minutes late a couple days per week.
In fact, the guys who miss the most work and/or arrive late seem to be Supervisors' buddies.
If someone doesn't show up to work, they simply call the next person on the list.
The company just wants a body there; they don't care who it is.
