No more manual transmission for driver tests?

I read a comment on upsers that they're are getting rid of the need to drive manual transmissions for drivers, but couldn't find any info in the contract. Although it is a lot to sift through. Anyone else hear about this?

TTKU. Probably at least 30 of our newest PCD hires don’t even know how to drive a stick. I’m not even that old but I’m worried for this worlds future when 90% of dudes my age or younger can’t drive stick.

The best is when they beg you to do a route because the split driver can’t drive the truck the route is loaded into.
