The doctor was really pushing an amniocentesis with my oldest because her father is a hemophiliac. I wouldn't let him. Nope. Not sticking any needles into my belly or my baby.
My wife had it but not for too long.

She had a half brother that had cystic fibrosis. It's a recessive gene and she's not a carrier. That's really the only worry we had. Otherwise both sides have a long history of healthy babies.
Some real nut jobs but healthy.

I agree. He wanted to test because if it was a boy he thought it could have had hemophilia, which could cause problems during delivery. After all these years, it just dawned on me what a
he was. There is no way it could have had hemophilia. Men don't carry the gene. Back then I told him to assume it was a boy and just be careful during delivery. Lol.
