You make so many....assumptions.

Just going off what you have posted.

You said you have never been a Steward or elected in to Office.

But.... you "help out" or are involved in other ways.

Now get down to the buffet and start loading up.

Now hurry up- the breakfast buffet might be getting picked over. Might want to wear a bib.

That schtick is getting old.

Personal insults, always come from weak minded people with no valid argument.

Don't think I ever said the things you stated.(Well not exactly the way you are stating it). But arguing with you is fruitless because....you are always right. For all you know, I could actually be a college student jerking your chain. The internet is so fun. I'll try not to pick on you about the buffet since it struck a nerve. Guess what- your "schtick" is old too.

Trying to figure this out.... if you have a local union with 5000 members and you have 10 folks who are BA’s and on the E-Board, does that mean that the 4990 other Teamster members can’t be “involved” or be “real Teamsters”????

Listen- if he says every elected officer is a BA then gosh darn it, that's the way it is.

Why would Fred Z be at the UPS JAC grievance panel ?

He's there just to hobnob, campaign, and spend the members dues money....

Or, he's there representing the members by acting as a BA.

Funny, he doesn't complain about going to Florida in February....

on the members dime.

To be fair...there's more than a few PO's of local unions attending mtgs in Florida in February. Most bylaws instruct PO's to supervise their agents.

For those that are unaware, and as is the protocol, each year UPS chooses two locations and the CRT chooses the other two for the four annual JAC mtgs.

Nonsensical (to me) why any CRT mtg is allowed to be scheduled outside of the CRT's jurisdiction, including in Chicago.

My Local sent 4 Officers to Florida last week, to withdraw one discharge case, leaving the part time Recording Secretary to chair the Monthly Membership Meeting on Thurday evening.

I believe that they were thankful that the once "status quo" 2 day JAC Discharge Panel in Chicago was once again cancelled this year, allowing them to make the glorious trip to the "Sunshine State".

For those who aren't familiar, the Central Region used to have an extra JAC panel in Chicago, a few weeks prior to the one in Florida, for discharges only.
This was to keep ordinary members from making the trip to Florida and getting a glimpse of the proceedings and extracurricular activities.
Kudos to the CRD for ending this ridiculously transparent and costly practice.

In 2017, my alternate steward had a case that was deadlocked on a "point of order" to the JAC in Florida, until the Labor Manager and BA realized that my alternate and myself were planning to make the trip.
Ironically, the Labor Manager abruptly withdrew the "point of order", making our presence unnecessary, while they both made the trip anyway, with no cases on the docket.

I'm sure the trip bore fruit for them both anyway.

Fair enough.

To expound on that a little further, the PO of a Local is entitled to attend any and all

Panels, Conference's, IBT, or Regional functions.

A week before, Fred was in Chicago.... at the JAC discharge panel.

Coincidence, to add a new member to the slate ?

And, why would Fred Z be attending an IBT Lawyers conference in Canada ?

He's not a lawyer.

Election into office, comes with privileges. Most members are not aware of that.

I don't see any TDU people giving that up....

Is Fred Z.... denying the use of members dues....

to travel around the country ?
I have no idea how Fred Z qualifies his travels to his members?
I am not a member of his local.

....but I now know you had no idea that there hasn't been a JAC Discharge Panel in Chicago for two years.

Does your Local have a retirees club?:-)

Couldn't care less. Don't remember ever mentioning his name. Maybe you meant to quote someone else.
