Older FT supes getting passed over for promotions by kids with only 3 years experience

There are a lot of issues with how we promote people, but for the most part of you’ve been a FT sup for more than, let’s say 10 years without being promoted, there is probably something wrong with you

The solution to your problem of being passed for a new position - is to have management join the union, then you can use seniority to obtain the position you desire.

In the airline, you need to be a "sub-subordinate" and Kowtow to the Dix above you to get considered for the next level. It's common knowledge, but rarely talked about. The current regime in the airline are so paranoid that open and constructive discussion is suppressed and penalized. Not for Me!

Oh, and the older guy question....they're coasting or they pissed someone off and "getting even" by coasting making the J-off that pissed them off creditable...

Most common: poor performance on the management of your skin color.
