The political will to launch the massive public transportation infrastructure bill simply isn't there right now. We will have to do it eventually. It will however be even more expensive now that interest rates are moving off their lowest levels in history .

Subways, buses, ferries, even cable cars. It's the only city in the U.S. where the majority don't own cars.

public transport not like that here or in amsterdam when i was there for a lay over
btw amsterdam the fast train from the airport to downtown had comfy seats, much better than here
