My range anxiety starts when my charge goes down to around 100 miles. I plug it in before I go to bed and it is fully charged when I wake up. If I plug it in at the public charging station in our complex I don't like to leave it there overnight and will instead charge it during the day on their dime.
Uh....that's actually your dime.

Getting gas requires an extra stop, extra turns, a special step out of the car and back in. And 5-10 minutes of time. Too much work.

An EV requires no extra stops, no extra turns, no special steps out of the car (you're getting out at home anyway) and it requires 5 seconds of time.
Only if you have the range.....
