It’s nothing more than a plpe dream.
It's from the company that already makes the quickest car in the world, and offers the highest performance at any of its price points. They're going to make 250k a year of them out of a single factory that is almost finished construction.

The only competitor would the the original H1.

Even a literal trillion-dollar company gets hate from the dunces. That was a forest 18 months ago. That's where the cybertruck is made.

We get it. You are a Tesla fanboy. Maybe its time for you to put down the Kool-Aid
Kool-aid paid off my house.

It's irrational to look at a company with a bigger market cap than UPS, already with the highest performance cars in all their price ranges, and then call the cybertruck a pipe dream when the building exists.

It's just stupid hate from a bunch of horses, jealous of the newfangled horseless carriage.

Why has all production information been removed from the website?

Saw a Honda pickup EV prototype online today. For pure looks it blows away Tesla's truck.

Yes. Look for yourself.
Why on earth would you act like this is even a hard question? All the "concerns" from the haters are from the same playbook. They are not hard.

Here is your answer:

The specs are improving at such a rate that they cannot lock in the price packages. They've also had the market freedom to raise prices at will on all their cars, because people will pay any price. So, they don't want to lock it in just yet.

Tesla has raised prices on every vehicle this year, by a lot, just because they can. Why take a pre-order for a lesser package and price, when the truck is improving even now and they can charge more?

The 4680 cell availability for the premium versions would push range over 600 miles when it was previously listed at 500mi. They're still deciding how much of those to allocate to the Semi and the roadster, which also need the premium new cells.

Tesla is the most flexible manufacturer in auto history, and they can make things better all the way up until they are coming down the line. That's why.

Do you want me to go on? Information was removed because these things are improving that fast, and Tesla has realized they can charge whatever they want.

It's so funny to hear about missed targets and all that Jazz. There is nobody that has taken cars from drawing board to production this fast, updated editions this fast, or proven as flexible. The only conceivable problem is that Elon has a slightly big mouth about it, and then beating everybody else isn't good enough, because it's not quite what he said.

Whatever.

They'll make a quarter million of them a year in that building or more, and they'll charge whatever they want, and they'll all sell before they're built.

Ummm, Rivian.

Any other questions?
A few but I have to go to work....my ICE vehicle awaits.....the one that is real....

It is interesting that Tesla won't officially disclose numbers.....

I wonder why?

Out of the 40mil cars sold....not much as a percentage.....I guess I wouldn't say that too loud either....

Or that they sell more in Europe and China.....places that have to import oil......coal.....

Insert chuckle here^^^^^^.......

Won't disclose numbers? I have no idea what you're talking about.

They can't say 500 mile range for the cybertruck, because it could easily be 600+. They can't say 600+, because it could be 500. This isn't that hard. Welcome to the world of a manufacturer that simply moves that fast. It took Rivian 13 years to make 1200 vehicles. Tesla made a million vehicles. That's life when you're that much better than everyone else.

The rest goes back to my first post in this thread. It was only 1%. Then it was only 2%. Then it was only 5%. Then it will be only 10%. And then, in a decade or two, it will 'only' be the entire auto market. Stocks and everybody else is forward-looking. The future is already written, and it isn't ICE.

Tesla had the benefit of having an owner with extremely deep pockets while Rivian had to raise funds the old fashioned way.

Why can't Tesla add the word "estimated" and "ypmv" (your performance may vary) to their mileage range projections?

You are correct in that the future is not ICE; however, your decade or two prediction is a bit too rosy.

The difference isn't in initial funding.

I have no idea why people can't simply acknowledge that the difference is that it is led by a once in a generation (or less) kind of person.

From almost nothing to a trillion dollar market cap, while running a side business space company better than NASA. If Elon were behind Rivian and starting with no money, you'd have Rivian going to Mars and being a trillion dollars.

Gates and Jobs put together might be as accompslished.

Co-founding PayPal is cheating as a way to start the first new large automaker in a century, and beating NASA is something anybody could do if they wanted.
