I think you called it favoritism
Yes, but that's a description. Favoritism is given to union automakers, in the words of our energy secretary as I quoted.

I didn't say it was good or bad for the loans or subsidies to exist or be taken.

I said they are not given out evenly, and Tesla is disfavored. That's a raw fact.

Good thing Tesla doesn't need it.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

Or deserve it.

Imagine a new automaker that gets by with the least help from government, and is excluded from tax credits specifically designed to help the legacy guys who have sucked the government teat until it's raw.

This company is profitable on its own terms without the aid, and also defied mandates to keep its employees working and paid.

Then imagine that conservatives dislike this company. lol

Are you also happy that they stayed in business, defying government shutdown mandates?

Yes Tesla Is all about human rights when it’s easy 🙄,let’s see them actually stand up to human rights abuse and defy China.

So you're saying they're the same as everybody else in dealing with China, but that they're better than everyone else in how they handled it here?

That's cool. That makes them better than everyone else, right?

No I’m saying there are no better. I’m pretty sure Elon has already implanted these chips in your brain.

Not really. I just like reliable, safe gas powered cars that I can fuel up anywhere. EVs are so great! That’s why they have to force them on us or give tax breaks to buyers.
Tesla isn't eligible for buyer tax breaks. An EV would take up less of your time each year to fuel. And they're being bought voluntarily with the government explicitly works against the biggest EV maker.

That's great. Most people cannot afford, or don't want to pay for, new cars or Teslas.

Don't hate those who can.
I can afford almost any car I want. I don’t think there’s any car I want that I’m willing to pay that much for it’s just a car
I don’t find value. But that’s me you do you and that’s fine. You mistake us for caring that you like Teslas. We don’t, we’re making fun of you because you have a unhealthy love affair with them.
