"So now Schumer and Pelosi want to meet to make a deal. Amazing how it all works, isn’t it. Where have they been for the last 4 weeks when they were “hardliners”, and only wanted BAILOUT MONEY for Democrat run states and cities that are failing badly? They know my phone number"!

Spot on fact.
Withholding unemployment extension is Democrats playing politics for election points.

Social Security’s conservative opponents have tried to repeal and replace it with from the beginning.
Lots of errors in that video.
1. There was never any provision of law making the Social Security taxes paid by employees deductible for income tax purposes. In fact, the 1935 law expressly forbid this idea, in Section 803 of Title VIII.

2. The Social Security Trust Fund has never been "put into the general fund of the government."

3. The taxation of Social Security began in 1984 following passage of a set of Amendments in 1983, which were signed into law by President Reagan in April 1983.

4. Neither immigrants nor anyone else is able to collect Social Security benefits without someone paying Social Security payroll taxes into the system.

I am glad you looked everything up

So Dense donald promises if he is re-elected, he will terminate the tax altogether. I guess this means he’ll terminate Social Security and Medicare, which are primarily funded through the payroll tax. But he may be too ignorant about how the government works to understand that. But, we do know what Meadows, a hardcore Social Security antagonist, thinks about that idea.

Social security is a steaming pile of garbage.

bbsam, let me ask you this: If there was an executive order that deferred the payroll tax, and the order provided vague details about granting clemency at a later date, would you continue to withhold the taxes? It would be kind of foolish not to in my opinion.
Social security is a steaming pile of garbage.
THANK YOU. I try to explain to people that social security is the biggest scam ever but they have been brainwashed.

12.5% of everything you earn. Forever.
If you make it to 68* you *might* get 1200 a month.

If you die at 67, you get nothing, your family gets nothing.

If you die at 69(lol), you got 14,000$. Except they tax that too.

If you had put the tax money into stocks/bonds making a pathetic 3% yearly return, you would be making over 30K a year from the interest alone by 68.

Thats if you only made minimum wage your whole life too.

Die at 68? Your kids get the savings. Want to trade some of those savings to pay off the house? Go ahead.

Social security is only good if you are a braindead crackhead who cannot be trusted to make their own decisions, that somehow lives to 115.

Something more for to check . Is Trump within his rights to issue the 4 executive orders over the weekend under the Stafford Act of 1988 ?
Trump is forcing Congress to do their job for a change , and if they don't the people will see that they don't care ( which we already know they don't) and he is willing to bypass them !!!

“I believe it’s normal for the president to say ‘Yo Semites’ and ‘Yo Seminites,’ ‘Thigh Land,’ ‘Minne-a-napolis,’ ‘toe-tally-taria-tism,’ ‘Thomas Jeffers’ and ‘Ulyss-eus S. Grant.’ I believe it’s Biden who’s cognitively impaired,”

"They didn't have money for children who are food insecure in their bill, but they did have...a tax deduction for business lunches that cost half a billion dollars to give," Speaker Pelosi says of GOP's coronavirus aid. "It shouldn't be partisan that we would feed our children."

It was so important to Pelosi that congress left Washington!
