Are you going to be doing preload-air or is it double inside work? If it’s preload/air, you’ll get your inside part time wage for preload and your air rate for the air portion. Since you are a cover driver and not an air driver, they may Slot your wage at $17.00 and you’ll have to go through a 4 year air progression. You’ll lose money for four years. You may be better off taking a RPCD position as your cover wage and progression will count toward the RPCD job
