Routes being moved to another building

UnionStrong

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
The problem is the buildings are all considered the same center. It's a 100 person center with 2 satellites and a hub that houses 4 centers. So I'm being told that even though I have a bid route domiciled 35 miles from the hub I have to report to the hub when my route is moved there.

A bigger issue is only half the satellite is being moved to the hub, the other half stays. And there's 4 junior people staying . Another issue is they just bid out a new route never bid last week and announced the moves this week.

The new route that's never had a bid driver stays as well!
TF?

If it really is all one center (same slic), and they're not closing the satellite just moving your route back to the hub, you might be screwed. I would file a grievance anyway, to make sure.

4 of 10 are moving. It's because they are closing another center 40 miles north of the satellite and splitting that building into 2 existing satellites and another small center north of the closing center.
It's all based on geographical area in a Midwestern State. Seniority does not apply. But a 25 yr FT guy and 3 juniors leaving and 2 old timers and a few juniors staying.

It's messed up TBH

The union and company are telling you a fact. If there is another center you can transfer to you can, but you will be bottom of seniority.
You don't lose seniority here, bids to different centers happen weekly. It's a 400 driver hub with 4 centers. I just recently moved to this current center.

My seniority followed, I'm 14 out of 102

You're not central. You're 705. We're independent
Sorry I mislead you, I was thinking the question was a setup to give what local I am in. I will not disclose that information as the local I am in is in the pockets of the company. It's very well known to the international that certain locals have appointed leaders who are not standing up for their members.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
Word in our building has it that a number of routes will be moved to another building no later than August. Most likely I will follow my route to the new building, even though my commute will go from 5 minutes to 40. Aside from that, I expect it will be much as if I had just gotten a new center management team. Still, I am wondering if anyone out there has gone through such a move, and if so, how was your experience? Any unforeseen problems, or was it all smooth sailing?
@IVE GOTTA PACKAGE 4U is an ugly woman 2

Tiyeeee-gyyyeah!
I'm in the Central region . I'm not new to this. I'm very familiar with the contract. I participated in work with the tdu.

I'm not giving my exact location on this site for certain reasons pertaining to leadership.
