They sure seem fine with selling out to an autocratic foreign power in order to keep power at home.
They've sold out? As in they've taken money from Putin? The only person in our government that I'm aware there's proof that he personally took money from foreign governments is Joe Biden.

Has been posted here. Representative James Comer, committee chairman, has been posting findings on the committee's website.
"We’re nearly a decade into Putin’s sustained, unrelenting attack on American democracy through misinformation and mischief. Among other things, the Republican Party and its standard bearer have been successfully enmeshed in it and thoroughly compromised. When this all began, Putin in his wildest imagination could not have conceived of this level of success.'

If you think the Democrats are pressing for aid to Ukraine because they're worried about Putin and Russia you're misguided. Trump got us out of Afghanistan and our defense industry needed a new conflict to fund. And don't kid yourself it was Biden who got us out. If Hillary had won in 2016 we'd still be lodged in Afghanistan like a big tick and Ukraine would've been invaded long ago. Likely Taiwan too.

I'm one of many Republicans who think that Ukraine's sovereignty matters. That the Russians feared Trump and waited for a weak president to invade. If Trump hadn't been screwed in 2020 Ukraine not only wouldn't have been invaded but if Russia had tried and Trump sent in troops the ones now saying eff Ukraine would have been waving American flags and saying eff Russia. And the Democrats would be calling Trump a warmonger getting us into an insane war with a nuclear power. And Joe Biden would be on a beach in Delaware contemplating his navel.

Russian intelligence disinformation injected straight into the bloodstream of American politics... and we still have Americans buying it for full price.

Where's the critical thinking?

" American conservatives in the early 21st century are uniquely likely to hold political misperceptions. This is due, in large part, to characteristics of the messages circulating in the political information environment. Widely shared accurate political news disproportionately advances liberal interests, while viral falsehoods most often promote conservative interests. Together, these characteristics contribute to stark ideological differences in citizens’ ability to distinguish between truths and falsehoods about high-profile topics."

I see we have our latest election year strategy. If the Democratic Party loses it's because the Republicans are colluding with the Russians.

NIH? National Institute of Health? Are they trying to cover themselves for the abysmal failure of their Covid mandates and pushing badly performing vaccines?
