My pit is the wimpiest dog in the world. She looks hot but but she's got no mean streak. She'd like the one with the ties.Dogs are good people.
Mine only bites people wearing ties.

I wasn't there. That's not the point. Looks like I have to explain each situation twice for you to grasp the issue at hand.Did he roll through the stop sign?
Do you stop completely at every stop sign/red light, count 1-2-3, before you proceed?Did he roll through the stop sign?
"Excessive dispatch" is a valid reason to quit the safety committee... If you don't have the spine to file on it.Do you stop completely at every stop sign/red light, count 1-2-3, before you proceed?
It won't be long till both are removed from their safety positions, I'm sure. Management will claim calling out the driver does not amount to discipline, but of course a verbal warning is the first step in the discipline process. These two "safety" drivers will likely never be promoted, and now they will be seen as rats by the other drivers. This is about the only good that comes from safety committees... they shed some light on who the rat drivers are.Yesterday, an off the street ft driver (6 mo total seniority) did an ORO and reported a driver by name to management who allegedly rolled thru a stop sign.
Management called the driver out on it.
Both the co-chair and this snitch have turned their ltr of intent to be management in.
The local emailed the center manager to cease all OROs until the next hearings were set up this month. That was three weeks ago. The management doesn't get it.
Grievances are flying now. This is bull crap.
Rank and file should never be against rank and file...In other words...You need to set the standard in your bldg...Be captavative... Enlist all good thoughts and retrieve that info to use to protect all who are there... Period... Spheres of influence should be understood and disbanded...One person is not a reflection of the conglomerate... Everyone needs a voice...We work to hard to have feelings of dissidence..Love the brethrenWe used to have these elections annually, but for some reason have stopped entirely. The driver they have doing the safety stuff has been in that spot for 3 or 4 years! This happening other places too? Most folks don't really care because they themselves are uninterested in being a safety member, but it seems as if this current guy is just going to ride this gravy train all the way in. Meanwhile more junior drivers aren't being asked to participate, so of course they won't. Years go by and nothing new is implemented and the old guy just gets more jaded and almost acts like management in browns. On the one hand, I understand the reluctance of rookies to step up, but new blood is needed to keep people engaged. Any thoughts?
Hmmm...."captavative"? East Coast, why didn't you just use your own name as you dredged up this 2 1/2 year old thread?
