No...you get paid an extra 8 hours for Monday but you still work 5 days that weekYou'd get Tues off, just like if a holiday was on a Sun, you get Monday off, on regular M-friend schedule.
I'm sure we will get this all sorted out in the next contract negotiations.
How it has always been for our T-S(past practice). Haven't looked for it in contract, but it is in the spirit of the contract.Where'd you read this?

Not at all. I've ran our Tuesday thru Saturday air run during a Monday holiday week. We don't get Tuesday off...How it has always been for our T-S(past practice). Haven't looked for it in contract, but it is in the spirit of the contract.

Could be, not sureMight be local language.
Day after holidays are heavy. No way they are giving that many guys the day off.
Which supplement are you underHere they're not going by seniority per se. They've selected the routes they want to move to Tues-Sat and are giving the drivers the option to follow their work to that schedule, or they will put the routes back up for bid

Not how the contract is writtenWhich supplement are you under
That's a crock of . I bid on my route which is mon-fri. They shouldn't be allowed to just change it. None of this should be allowed until next contract/next bid..... or they should just consider sat as "extra work", ask for volunteers and than force from the bottom up.
It is still a bunch of crap that a UPS driver would be subjected to working on a Saturday. I think I will try to get hired at a grocery store. Or a farm. Lol

They can always change routes. You're allowed to follow the work if you choose.THIS^^^
I'm not sure how it can be looked at any other way. UPS promising 6000 new jobs has the Teamsters drooling....
