Seasonal driver wage?

I'm a cover driver but get like 55 hours a week...out til 8:00-9:00 most of the time.

$25.20/hr rate...upstate NY....
So the gears turn that slowly up there ? Or u chose not to become a full bid driver

The most recent cover drivers to go full-time bid drivers took about 7-9 years here but I think it's going to be much less with people getting out quicker than in the past. (Retiring as soon as they can etc. We've had a couple long time pre-loaders make full time driver then quit soon after also).

I don't plan on being there much longer but know how those deals can work.

Ur in the same terminal as upstate, Dave? The only BOG in the nation?

Used to be a cover driver, but at HD, we get maps, and turn by turns, no commits on airmail (that's express) & rarely a pickup (ground) so it was way more easier to be going out blind each day.

I finally landed a rural route, but I'm out there close to 2300 some nights. And that's with ideal weather conditions...
