Apparently not since they don't all go to arbitration or bad ones still slip through like 688's 9.5 arbitration. Again isn't that why Sean said all national arbitrations need to be approved by him because some locals bring bad cases to arbitration?

That 688 arbitration was ultimately heard after 5 hearings and obviously wasn't the right case, but it took years to adjudicate.

Maybe it's time we tighten up our game to defend the contract in a timely manner, rather than depend on unnecessary layers in the grievance procedure to protect us from ourselves?

That's what I mean. So we're going to hope that everyone tightens up their game so that we can get decisions on language that may effect all members in a negative way faster.

I understand a sitter arbitrator for discharge and suspensions but not interps.
