Starting a new run next week to MEANJ (Meadowlands). Never been in there before and was looking for some tips on getting in there as far as toll roads, road restrictions, low bridges. We’ll be heading in from I-70. Thanks

Buy a GPS designed for truckers.

I'm real happy with my Garmin 595LM for my car/bike.
I'm sure there are cheaper models that don't focus on large, long commercial vehicles.
You'll just have to shop around.
I don't know if our sleeper trucks have GPS.

...or rely on your driving skills, and common sense, to detect dangerous stuff like this and low bridges.

By far the best is to get a phone number or two from some other drivers.

No too many low bridges to worry about on that route. Head east!

When I was working in Vermont I saw situations like this. Dangerous stuff.

Anybody ever notice how angry the head guard at the inbound gate at Meadow looks? He should be working in the hub as a supervisor with that attitude.

Took them 20 mins to get me a seal and paperwork (I was sitting in the gate) . One minute later he says "come on". He didn't appreciate my response of ":censored2: you" but it got my point across .

Some of those swift drivers aren't real smart.

I can almost guarantee they were following directions from a GPS device not designed for truckers.
