Thank you for your contribution. The U.S. pretty much drives the world economy. If this stuff affects not only us, but Europe, China, and Japan too, will we see massive unrest worldwide?
I think scientists have a habit of over promising in their speculations to acquire more funding for their projects and generate interest in their fields.
I’m still not convinced of fully automated trucking or I’d be pursuing an education and marketable skills. I think if we see rising tariffs and minimum wages you will see more interest in automation. Until then third world people working for penny’s on the dollar should be more cost effective than developing technology that you don’t know the political ramifications and legislation that could be passed after investing in your brand new American robot factory.
Hell they haven’t even automated McDonald’s fully. I’ve seen their automation kiosks they suck, multiple times they’ve been broken and needs someone there to take my order. Democrats don’t need an excuse to start dividing up wealth that hasn’t been created yet for people who haven’t lost their jobs yet.
