You know Hoax, when you said it comes down to people who feel that they must control other people, the first thing that popped into my head was Republicans. (stream of consciousness and all) Not management ( though that was a good analogy), but Republicans. I am now going to duck behind you to avoid all the knives, arrows, blades that will be thrown in my direction. No one will dare throw anything in your direction, will they?

And was that you yesterday with all the "moved" threads? Oh, to be omnipotent like you! Sigh.

I'm only throwing a "lol knife" in your direction. :funny:

That's funny ... I started to throw politics in there but to me, the Democrats are just as bad or even worse than Republicans and when I look at the Socialist Democratic Republics in Europe, they are the worst.

Obviously based on one's point of view. Governments are defined by their level of control over it's citizens.

I took what she said as the Republicans IDEALS are what control an individual, not the Democrats GOVERNMENT to control everyone as a collective.

Care to clarify or expound on that.

I will expound on what I was alluding to:
I see Democrats trying to control and limit my individual freedoms much more than Republicans.
Republicans seem obsessed on what I do in my bedroom which is almost unenforcible while Democrats want to take my individual possessions and rights (money, guns, speech, etc.) which is more easily enforceable.
If you have ever been to France or UK or Germany (apparent Democrats models), an individual's rights are more more constricted and limited than they are here in the US.
