It’s been bitter cold down here, I can’t imagine doing this up there in winter.

It was so hot in my area of Southern California I almost took my UPS brown button up shirt off at a bulk stop I unbuttoned it completely.

They spray it with calcium chloride

Here they mix calcium chloride with corn syrup and apply it to the streets. The corn syrup/salt mixture sticks to the streets longer.

Not much snow here yet but its fareeeezing!

They make sugar out of beets. Maybe it's a beet syrup and salt like the corn syrup here.

1/2” = day off? The stuff we go out in up north is mind blowing. Just take it slow, if you can’t deliver it just bring it back, record as emergency conditions. The problem arises when you have a few pickups that stay open and decide to ship a lot that day, basically no room for pickup packages with everything you didn’t deliver taking up the room.

That's me basically all peak. Sure, let me pick up 400 pieces when I still have 80 deliveries left.
