Serious question???
6-8am Load truck
8:30- Dispatch
8:35- Stop1
3:30pm- Last stop
9.5 hours worked
140 stops, 160 packages
What would your contractor pay?

You spend 2.5 hours loading? I’m sure you could cut that down. Even HD loading the entire truck yourself shouldn’t take more than an hour. That gets you down to a 8 hour day making $16/hr. which is reasonable. Pick up the pace on deliveries, 3 stops per hour better gets it down to a 7 hour day at $18/hr and your day is done at 2:30.

yes 2 hours loading truck- no shelves, just flat in the back- so I have to arrange the packages to the parts of the town I will be delivering- up and down from the back of the truck all day-

My employer (Express) would pay me $202 for that 9.5 hour day if I was a 4x10 and I’d only have to do it 4 days a week.

About $218 if I was a 5x8.

Why are you still working for this contractor? I’m assuming that you’re looking for a different opportunity, since you keep bringing up how awful your pay is.
