The Stimulus Bill is a short term solution to what may be a long term problem. Conservatives are going to whine about it, but sending everyone back to work will prolong the pain, not end it.

Why are you shaming it? It passed the GOP dominated Senate by vote of 96-0 and is much larger than the Obama stimulus package and many repugs said it was too large. Oh how the tide has turned on the repugs . Now there is simply no such thing as the government spending too much on this a crisis because their guy is in the big house and he's up for reelection.
