I never said they didn’t have to pay it back. My point is they’re held responsible for a garbage system. It’s beyond them.

Is it a bad idea to have 17-18 year olds choose whether to take out huge loans to pay for college? Probably.

Are those loans “erroneous debt”? I don’t think so. Should they be paid back? Yes.

That was 2020. They might be above poverty but living pay check to check with that piece of paper they earned.
