Another year of summer vacation numbers sneaking up on management just like Christmas.


The fact that we are understaffed is once again exposed. All SVD denied until further notice. Who could have possibly seen this coming!!!!

We are properly staffed. We just need some temp help because we get a lot of time off.

We need help about 9 months out of the year.

They have the ability to lay off if we are over staffed

In the Southern, option days are when the employee decides to use them.
60 or 90 minutes prior to start time.
"Hi! This is Joe S, I am using an option day today!"
They can do nothing about it!

Ours is 5 working days advanced request

and they have 24 hours after you submit the request to deny it. It they don't do anything it is automatically granted.

We don't hire summer seasonals. We seem to make it through summer just fine... And if someone calls out I don't have to do their stuff.

1. Sell back your 7 days of vacation for money
2. Take an extra full week of vacation
3. Break it up for 7 days of individual paid time off.
