We have guys that will NR a NI just to save time on not filling out an info notice.

If the mail was already delivered and you stick it in the box they probably won't know the difference but if something happens with it and and your name and ID shows up when they look who delivered it then it's your ass.

It's a shipper release so unlikely to ever be investigated but if a consignee called in a complaint it could be an issue.

But it's understandable because we don't get paid well at all......oh wait nevermind.

I was off recently and the guy that covered my route sheeted an RS1 call tag as NR. I kid you not. And I had to go retrieve one of his misdeliveries that was just ridiculous. Gotta love bonus babies. Bad asses on paper......bad drivers in reality.
