Teamster Buyout?

Statement from UPS says the buyout is in addition to any earned retirement and healthcare benefits. So if you're 55 you could get retiree health insurance and you would still collect whatever pension you have earned up to that point.

So if youre 55 with 25-30 years ft an early retirement might be worth it?
So UPS has never mislead before? If this is true and I hope for many still hanging in there for whatever reason it would be great...I just would be very skeptical.

Curious if corporate and teamsters discussed an agreement prior to this? Because if the union agreed to it, it would be kosher correct?
How come they can’t do debates like presidential elections? I want to see Carol and O’Brien face to face . I think they’re working secretly together. Why are they being keyboard warriors?

Brother you should never touch 70+.
If they were deliveries they'd sit on my truck til someone came, even if it were for 2-3 days. And as for pickups I would simply tell the customers they will have to wait til tomorrow and hopefully they can send someone to assist me.
Didn't matter if it was customers I got along with great or despised, you can't do it for one you like and not others or you are setting yourself up for the usual questioning.

Furthermore.... NEVER ask or solicit help from the customer, they can't force you to do so.

I covered a pick up once, packed with over 70s. I asked them what’s up with these? They said the usual driver loaded them himself. I’m in a p-500 lower than the dock. I said nope, not today, I’ll call the center. And they weren’t happy either. I told the shipper it would be awhile or we could come back tomorrow. It was 15 minutes to closing time. They ended up loading the truck. Bottom line, eff the shipper, eff UPS. Get help. The customer does not have to help.
