Eh. I don't like this. Seems entitled. Dont we collect an hourly wage while working? Doesn't the co contribute to our health and wellness for every day we work? The union is calling the Co deceptive but this isn't any better.

I agree and that’s why this buyout unless it’s quite large and sweeps up people who hadn’t planned to go maybe for a few more years (3-5years) makes no sense to me. Giving someone who was going to leave anyway thousands of dollars kind of silly. I don’t see how this benefits the company. And certainly will only benefit a very small number of people who are going to retire anyway in a very short amount of time.
