They don’t want lifetime employees anymore.
This will be a total disaster with a bunch on new drivers all the time. Very few take care of the package cars- drive them so stupid fast with out a care in the world. They don't even want to be there so its off to the races and run hour or more under.. No service to a customer- EC --address not found Hide packages etc etc I herd so many stories being in the building. Seems after 10 years if still around they do their job as it should be done- Take care of their cars as if ti was their own, this is such a huge cost savings. Also They have built a relationship with the customer and we retain them.

I don't think the company is taking that long term of a view of the situation.

Yeah that seems to be the major problem. Short term gains for long term pains...or kick the can down the road.

Our satellite building is rumored to be closed around peak 2026. It will take 45 minutes on a good day to get to area. The reason they created our building was to reduce late air. Let's go backwards

This isn't a poduck area either, there is S&P 500 companies that we service

It's crazy to see a 45 year old get a pt sup job and then they act like people should be kissing their feet. Congratulations on getting hired to the lowest position in the company.

All of the drivers hired during covid suck.
I'm going to disagree with you, cordially. I'm a COVID hire, but take my work very seriously. Use the methods, deliver with pride, build relationships with my customers and take care of my truck.
I will say, I came in at 35, had a lot of life experience and a good work ethic.
