You should really learn about the meiji restoration and imperialist Japan Ricky.
Japan had a chance to become a stabilizing power in Asia for all Asians. Instead they decided to go rape and pillage China. Then they tried it with a white nation Russia, the other white imperialist stepped in and told the orientals they are not our equals no matter how hard they tried to be. This snowballed.

A lot of Japanese politics at the time were shaped by terrorism. The famous picture of the school boy gutting that socialist pig then killing himself in prison for the emperor that happened all the time, except before then they would get away with it with massive public support. It would usually be military murdering publicly elected officials so they could continue slaughtering the Chinese.
The Japanese defeated the Russians in the early 1900's.

Their government was shaped by political assassinations and devotion to the emperor. It was literally domestic terrorism. Not the fake terrorism you cry about because America has a strong military.
Don't know, but do know Russia's defeat was a major factor in how the Bolsheviks came into power.
Actually Ricky the Japanese had a very militaristic society at that time. They strongly believed in their ethnic superiority over other people in that region. Lead to them killing ten's of millions of people. They also took 90,000 or so Korean and Filipina women as sex slaves to service the Japanese army. To their credit once defeated they worked hard to change their ways.

America also has a militaristic society and delusions of superiority be it economic system or nationality.
We aren't slaughtering tens of millions Ricky. We aren't seeking a partnership with another fascist regime to completely control the world. And you don't understand what militaristic means. Not everyone participates in the military the way that Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan did.
