I also am not a tdu member. Nor will be. I just want to know why stink who seems to be a union know it all. Why? Don't you give us the correct info. TDU is our only info so far. You alone can give us your great wisdom and settle any misinformed tdu statements. You said in other thread. Wait and see. Why? You have it spill it. Wont matter now there ia a handshake. Union equals brownout to the people whom its says it's working for. Please inform us.

All I know is anything that I know I cannot post on this forum because I'm just not allowed. Been able to keep a secret is worth a lot more than acting like a know it all on this forum you'll find out in a werk or two okay.
Why would you be asked to keep secrets from your union brothers? Makes no sense at all.

It's much easier to keep a secret if you don't even imply you have any knowledge on the subject.
Actually it's more like commie prevention. We know who the communists are all ready. They call themselves Teamsters for a democratic union, but I assure you, they are nothing but pusillanimous in sheep's clothing.
So the best thing to do would be to put them down by posting everything you know.

People will stick their middle finger up at the president of this union (as long as its not a TDU nominee) and the president of this country, yet kiss the ass of a man investigated by the FBI for plotting to overthrow the government? Are you kidding me right now!!!!? So instead he takes the heat off himself (Paff) and goes smaller scale........enter the Teamsters Union. Do the research people! I think the Teamsters should put TDU down by posting some factual information. We are giving them the upper hand with all this secrecy.
It's 2013, time to drag the Teamsters into this century. Teamsters meet internet. I bet I'd find typewriters in a lot of Teamster offices...

I agree. While I don't necessarily need a tentative agreement.pdf posted immediately (although that would be nice), more specifics should be released after the two-person meetings.

I doubt if even the Teamsters or UPS really understand what is in the contract yet (Terms and Conditions).
What has been agreed to is at high level and now the lawyers put the bullet-points into contractual language.
Experienced negotiators know that verbal agreements get clarified once it gets put in legal language.
If anyone was to publish the Tentative Agreement (not the contract) at this time, the only thing for sure is that the terms and conditions in the contract would be different than what was in the TA.

Ha, Secret. NOTHING released will Change anything. No Reason at all for a Brown out. No info will change the big dogs minds on anything. They are just scared that we will have time to go over all the details of the contract.
The Union is not planning on a Sneak attack on the company, in fact everything is agreed upon now anyway.
Honestly I see it as both sides trying to Sell us this. IF and I say IF the starting wage is $10 that is total Crap. This amount I should be happy for as the more the start pay is, the more my pay gets reduced against the economy. I have been at UPS for 18 years, and I am looking out for the New Union People.

LOL you have Brown on your nose man.. Anyway I read ALL sides of things, and from what I have seen at TDU it is keeping both sides responsible.
If TDU was against UNIONS they would be saying to accept the contract. BUT they are saying UPS profits are UP, we should get MORE! More for the Fellow Teamsters, Brothers and workers..
Pull your head out. Quit looking at the smoke being blown up your $$$, this goes for BOTH sides.......
As I see it Do Not Blame TDU or anyone for Trying to help people know what is going to control their lives.. I see no bashing at all, besides YOU...

Cut them some slack ... the Teamster stewards are under a lot of pressure to sell the contract (even before it is written).
