Tim believes he was a good pick for vice president.

When in fact, he was probably one of the worst VP picks ever, he added absolutely nothing to the ticket. Especially. with Kamala Harris one of the worst presidential candidates in history. Right up there with Mondale, and Michael Dukakis

Seems like they're trying to do damage control to salvage their importance to the party. Kind of like Hillary for awhile going anywhere she could trying to convince the Dems it wasn't her fault.

Leftists are trying to reinforce the idea that they don't have to change. They're probably feeling more confident now that the dumb tariff stuff has started and they're no longer completely on the run. Do they look really dumb doing it? Absolutely. But they might have an opening if the economy gets worse.

Which is why if the tariffs are going to work it better happen soon. If the Democrats capture the House in the midterms because of a tariff induced recession then there goes any chance of major systemic changes in our government and our debt.
