It was the Left screaming that Trump was colluding with Russians, etc during his term. It wasn't actually anything he was doing. He worked on creating a strong business environment, strengthening the military, securing the borders. But it's people like you saying he wants to be a dictator with a rubber stamp government. There's no evidence of that. Plenty of evidence that the Washington establishment was worried that Trump would inhibit their ability to make money so they set out to destroy him. And part of that was to get people like you worried. Trump got elected because enough people were sick of the status quo. Politicians who made a lot of promises, never delivered, but were always lining their own pockets. People wanted a future for their children, not money spent on everything but making that happen. It was a threat to the Swamp and they tried to tamp it down by pitting political sides against each other. And still are. Pretty obvious when the current president portrays conservatives as racists and the greatest threat to the republic. And if ever one politician is emblematic of the greed of Washington it's Biden. So keep playing into their hands by convincing yourself that Trump is going to end the Republic. It's impossible when you look at all the moving parts to make that happen. And frankly the man believes too much in the Constitution and loves the country too much to ever leave a legacy that he was the man who destroyed the USA.

Yet Biden literally said zero of those things when running for president.
Biden made a point of saying during the campaign, saw the video, that he was going to end our dependency on fossil fuels. He's on video advocating for an endless stream of immigration. His attorney general is refusing to prosecute those clearly breaking the law, such as protesting outside the homes of Supreme Court justices, which is illegal. I could go on and on with examples, but clearly I am not a Biden voter.
