The way the world is supposed to be?

Humans can choose good or evil.

We all suffer the consequences of evil choices and good choices.

Do you desire good or evil?

And, quite often, we suffer the consequences of other people's evil choices. But it's easier to sit back and blame a God you don't believe in than to actually do something about it.

There is a God and through Jesus Christ, His Son, we are saved. Despite all of the commercialism this Christmas and throughout the year, God loves us so much that He sent His Son so that we are His ultimate gift. The irony of what we do every day dropping off cardboard presents this time of year, it is easy to lose sight of what really matters.
Yes.

He came not to condemn but to save.

The Holy Spirit of God is in humans.

I believe it is our responsibility to seek the desires of this Spirit (goodness) not the desires of our human flesh(prone to evil).

By doing this, the Spirit of God within us will grow(spiritual growth), the desires of the flesh will diminish and as a result the spirit of goodness on the earth will grow.

How do you expect people who don't believe in God, or the Holy Spirit, to accept that responsibility?

Geesuz this is a deep thread! We will all find out when we die. I will either see you in Heaven or never see you again. In a very sincere way, that depresses me.

“The world is not the way God intended it to be.”

I have heard this quote from preachers in recent years. If it has been said in the past, I haven’t noticed it.

I think I know what point the preachers are trying to make but I don’t agree with the statement.

I think the world is exactly as God intended, I believe he always intended humans to have to choose between good and evil.

Any thoughts for discussion?

The secret to the future of the world is plywood. Not the crappy bent plywood you can buy at Lowes, but the good stuff you can get at Home Depot. Sure, you have to pay a little more, but the future of the world does depend on it. Yep, plywood and also high quality plastics.

An argument could be made that concrete could be involved also, but I am not in that camp.

By denying the existence of the Holy Spirit of God within all humans they are already accepting their responsibility. They do this by accepting the consequences of a life lived in disbelief.

I really don't want to participate in religious or political discussions, because both are based off lies.

Btw, I choose good. Just because I can go to sleep with a clear conscience.
