Time to get route, new contract question

Damn how did you old timers work the preload for so long? My 3 months on the preload felt like a decade. Driving for UPS is a great opportunity but I can't imagine it being worth a decade on the preload, unless it was better in the past.

I worked preload for ten and a half years, just got full time in September '17. It was never good, but had to put your time in.

Sometimes i feel like a nut sometimes i dont
How long does it take to get your own route? Im in a large center with 300+ drivers.

And also, since im in the process qualifying right now, if i make my 30 after the new contract is the new one going to apply to me or the one that is in place now. I feel like theyre making this qualifying process as slow as possible on purpose and probably wont have 30 punches until the end of the year.
Good luck

After the new contract, expect plenty of openings as driver retire. They are waiting for that pension bump.

Those with pension plans in the toilet might not be the same.
