Voting Starts Next Week! How will you vote and why.

So your voting no to keep weekend work the same for RPCD's and the company will still continue to use current the two tier drivers that already exist even though they make less than a 22.4.

Seriously what are you expecting to gain from a no vote that is better that your current economic package?
Why can't you fix cover drivers in your crap supplement rather then force 22.4 on the rest of us.

You gotta know the difference between the NMA passing last contract and if it gets votes down this time
You seem to be more concerned about what a no vote does to the company and customer retention than you are about what a yes vote does to UPS employees and future UPS employees.

Your inclination to think that a no vote is the end of the negotiations is unfounded. A no vote will not mean an immediate strike. It will send them back to the negotiating table. Whether or not UPS decides to negotiate any further is up to them. If not, then a strike may occur.

It's up to each individual to decide whether or not this contract serves them and their union brothers and sisters well. Some, such as yourself, are probably only worried about how this contract affects them. Others, good union members, worry about how this will affect everyone.

Your original question has been answered over and over, but since you don't agree, you take it as if your question isn't being answered. It's being answered and you're unwilling to accept their answers.

Yes, no sh#t. I never even knew there was such thing as a cover driver. All of our drivers are regular drivers, full pay, full protections, whether they have a bid route or not. Letting in this 22.4 garbage in is us coming down to the level of you guys that have this cover driver BS, instead of you guys coming up to having no cover driver positions. You should want to get your language better instead of making our language worse!

I’m Desperate because you want to vote no to get what we already have and risk getting less. Lol!
It's that type of mindset that is the reason we have what to many seems like a low ball contract offer with no teeth for protection for the rank and file. All they did was take what UPS offered, not what they could afford. There is a difference, you know that right?

Poor cover drivers can't do the work that 22.4 and RPCD will do. Or, is it really UPS making union employees take the fall for the loss of Amazon's business? I can't tell which.

If UPS lost some Amazon business, why should union employees get punish? They aren't responsible for Amazon's tantrum.

If the company and the contract are so bad why don’t you all go work somewhere else making $36hr? What’s keeping you here?

Same tired line.

Voting no on a contract doesn’t mean you don’t like working here. I love my job but think the language regarding 22.4 and 9.5 protections is weak.

Voting no because the language sucks in this contract.
No 40 hour guarantee(if work is available will not cut it)
Work over 60 hours should be voluntary not mandatory. Have a sign up sheet for anybody who wants to work over 60. Never worked over 60 hrs before why start now. Simple fix hire more drivers.
Not regularly scheduled to work Sat will not cut it. That means UPS will work u every Sat from Thanksgiving to Jan 15. Should not be forced to work 6 days in a row. Simple fix, have a sign up sheet for anybody who wants to work a 6th day and hire more seasonal drivers.
No 22.4 drivers. We have Mon -Sat delivery covered right now. Only day in question would be Sunday. Have a sign up sheet for Sunday at double time. Wont have a problem covering Sunday. There is not going to be that much on Sunday anyway.
Send them back to the table. This contract is garbage.
