Imagine the mess you're going to have when store personnel are not fully trained on or fully understand the operating differences between Ground and Express.Do they need both Walgreens and Walmart?

These are going to be staffed by Fedex office employees.Imagine the mess you're going to have when store personnel are not fully trained on or fully understand the operating differences between Ground and Express.
No one even knows about Walgreens. It's very rare to actually get a pickup from them.Do they need both Walgreens and Walmart?
Oh well, at least there's plenty of scenery. Enjoy! There's a bunch of stories of Fedex Office opening ship centers inside 500 Walmarts over the next couple years. That sounds terrible. It's going to be a pain dragging crap out the front of their stores at 6pm.
Depending on locations, sure. Also likely that Walmart would start shipping the way Target does with leech from their stores for online orders.
it could be a mix too. I could see WM trying to cut costs while leveraging their current B&M superstores. Why not use them as mini-warehouses, kinda like Target, and pick the inventory off last-mile from the ramp if theres a ton of it on the shelf and take a huge discount vs shipping it and taking an even less discount.Just read the news article and it looks like you’re right. It looks like FXO presence and not for WM’s shipping.
Every single superwalmart in our area now has a FXO inside. most have a street side "back door" so you'll won't have to contend with autodoors and shoppers. There's a bunch of stories of Fedex Office opening ship centers inside 500 Walmarts over the next couple years. By the shipping dock? That wouldn't be that bad, but only makes sense if they keep the boxes back there. Are the FXO stores up front or in the back?Every single superwalmart in our area now has a FXO inside. most have a street side "back door" so you'll won't have to contend with autodoors and shoppers.

friend chewy
No upfront near nail salons/bank/eye doctor offices, but they have a door that faces the parking lots, you still go in through the WM customer door, but then you can go out the back of the FXO(which leads to the parking lots)By the shipping dock? Aren't FedEx office locations run by franchisees? If so, wouldn't it be up to the franchisee to lease/own the property?WalMart Offices sound like a smart move, pickup pickup and drop-off locations they are weak in coverage and review how business is going there and possibly remove most Office buildings owned/leased by Fedex to a cheaper more foot traffic location that is WalMart.
No it's 100% FedEx. Part of the FedEx Services opco.Aren't FedEx office locations run by franchisees? If so, wouldn't it be up to the franchisee to lease/own the property?
