The members of Local 243, couldn't even bother to get off the couch.

Should've been a simple majority to decide the fate of this CBA.

The verbiage in the constitution has been there since 1987.

This one goes out to all my brothers out there who were excruciatingly forced to suffer and wait for months and months for this moment. We made it guys

I could use a couple more months to fix my car before going FT 22.4 or better yet starve them out and get hired as a regular just saying.

This contract really does just take a huge dump on part-timers looking to go driving.

Part of the problem is certainly the individuals but leadership makes it so hard to care. Why put in the time and effort when you know they’re just gonna do what they want anyway.

That's seemingly easy to ascertain but the last few locals did prove that if you do it by the book they have to respect your rights.

They just rolled the dice knowing that like the strike vote percentage, they would be pretty much free to trample on the members that voted against it.

Apathy and estrangement are parallel sicknesses with the same outcome.
